You need to make friend with Al. Then to take part in the Midsummer festival and see him in a dress. Come back to talk again to be able to recognize each of the twins. At this point, you will be able to talk to Alana. Then study drama and see Alanna again. back to the frontier and talk to her there. When you give her the solution to become the heir, she will offer you the job.
Mind is important. You also cannot have high sin. Not sure if low sin is still acceptable, but I have 0 sin when I tried this. Charm make the different between the two version (>100 or <100 charm will get different description). Here is my version with high Charm (the low Charm version got overwritten).
When Princess Alana made up her mind to do something, she let nothing stand in her way. Her boldness and daring, coupled with compassion and humor, would make her a great queen, beloved of the people. And always at her side to provide wisdom and balance was Eleanore, her Prime Minister. Eleanore took to the role as if she'd been born to play it. She greeted her fellow ministers and her new servants alike with charm and poise. And since she and Alana were similar in size, sometimes she dressed up as the princess to distract attention while the real princess was off secretly acting on stage. Together, Eleanore and Alana drew up plans for the future of the country, with contingencies for good times and bad. Most of their innovations were focused on improving the daily lives of their citizens, but they had to keep an eye on foreign policy as well. Fortunately, Prince Alaric fell in love with Princess Michiko of the neighboring kingdom, enabling them to make a strong alliance without anyone being unhappy. As for the Crown Princess, she supposed she would have to marry and produce an heir someday, but neither she nor Eleanore were in any hurry. After all, they had a kingdom to run!
